J. Flynn is a New England Native with over 30 years experience in business
and has had a direct hand in the growth and success of several New Hampshire
companies. I have witnessed the growth of business in New England
and although economic development is steadily rising here, we have been
able to keep part of our natural land wild. Many of us can still walk
only a few feet away from our backyards and step into the wildlife and
natural woodlands that make our state one of the most naturally beautiful
places in the United States. I believe a balance between nature and economic
growth for businesses and families in New England is the success to our
states appeal. If we all live responsibly and with a respect for
the wildlife and land that surrounds us, this beautiful state should be
here for the future generations to enjoy. I am happy to encourage the
hobby of wildlife exploration, education and conservation with our nature
store.
Julie Roderick, Member/Manager:
Julie
is a wildlife photographer, nature enthusiast and a steward for the 3rd
largest Audubon sanctuary in New Hampshire. I was born and raised
in Northern California. Since childhood I have had a direct connection
with nature. Caring for injured wild birds seemed like a normal part of
life to me and I thought that everyone did the same. It wasnt until
I was older that I realized what a unique childhood experience I had with
wildlife. If I wasnt rehabilitating animals, I was studying them
during my childhood eco-tours. My passion for nature and wildlife
has led me to become a conservation advocate and photographer. I have
traveled throughout the United States and I have had many outstanding
encounters with wildlife from the desert to the sea. Even today I am often
seen trekking out on mini adventures in everyday places during a busy
workweek, often right in the middle of the city. I take my breaks or my
lunchtime to investigate areas that usually go unnoticed or are of little
interest to passersby. It isnt until I return with amazing photos
of the wildlife in those seemingly insignificant areas does
one realize whats really out there, not so far away after-all.
